Magaluf and Palma Nova

Magaluf is one of the party capitals of the world so if it's pubs and clubs you're after you will find them in abundance in Magaluf. The bars are scattered throughout the resort and then there is a cluster of them on the "strip" and BCM Square. Magaluf attracts many top DJs during the summer months at the bigger clubs such as Mambos Terrace Club and BCM.

Some of the most popular bars to visit in Magaluf include Baywatch Bar, BCM Sports Bar, Crystal Pub, Flavours, Chaplin's Bar, Club 21 (an indie bar), Linekars, Murphy's and The Sugar Bar. Recommended clubs are Mamos Terrace Club and BCM.

Palma Nova is so close to Magaluf you could walk from one to the other without even realising you were in a different resort. However you can get some more luxurious hotels in Palma Nova and it tends to be a quiter place to stay than it's neighbour Magaluf. Palma Nova is more suited to couples with young children or couples who want a relaxing break with an option of a lively night out if desired.

Palma Nova and Magaluf are both good for shopping and you will find an array of tourist shops and also handy supermarkets. Funky Fish is a good shop for trendy accessories and beach wear.

Magaluf and Palma Nova are not just about beaches and nightlife. There are plenty of activities and days out to enjoy. For the more active there is a Go Karting track just outside Magaluf as well as 2 excellent water parks to choose from. Marineland is also a fin day out for the family and is just a short taxi ride away.

Golf Fantasia is close by and this contains 3 distinct 18 hole mini golf courses set in a beautiful tropical environment with surrounding caves, waterfalls, lakes and wildlife.

For a fun night out, the Pirates Dinner Adventure Show is a bit different, and caters for all ages. There is a pirate show for families and also an adult version!

The House of Katmandu is a new addition to Majorca, opened in 2007. You get to take part in a quest for a legendary jewel. This day out combines adventure, fantasy and magic with virtual reality.

As for restaurants in Magaluf and Palma Nova, there is planty of choice, with the more upmarket places to eat being located in Palma Nova. You will find all kinds of cuisine from Italian to Mexican, as well as traditional British pub food. Mariachis in Magaluf is recommended for Mexican food in a relaxed environment.
